Primary renter must be at least 21 years of age. Guests may be asked to present their government issued IDs upon arrival or anytime during their stay. Do not rent this unit for another party. The primary renter must be staying in the unit.

About the Vacation Rental Unit:

Settle into your own private space within one of Murfreesboro’s historic homes. This one-bedroom apartment offers a queen bedroom, full bathroom, and comfortable living area with a sofa bed, providing accommodations for up to four guests.

The larger property dates to 1847 and was once owned by Major John Childress, brother of First Lady Sarah Childress Polk, wife of President James K. Polk. Sarah Polk was known to visit the home. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the property carries nearly 180 years of local history. Portions of the home were converted into apartments during the 1930s, continuing a residential story that guests can still experience today.
